High Voltage Link Box reduces the electrical losses in an electrical cable by minimizing the sheath currents, and also provides sheath voltage protection. These have been so developed as to provide the system with a tight water and dust seal, thus making it a weatherproof enclosure.
These Link Boxes are available with the option of a SVL or without SVL (Sheath Voltage Limiters). In the Link boxes with SVL, the SVL is used so that the transient over- voltages, due to lightning or switching surges, does not cause any breakdown of the cable system.
Link Box design for co-axial cables is also available in our product range.
